Food is always fresh and yummy. Love the blackened salmon salad.

Carlos is always very friendly and on top of checking in on me and refilling my drinks.

Love this place, been coming here for years! I've tried just about everything on the menu. Highly recommend their pizzas and pastas. Also, when I'm in the mood for something lighter, I will grab the kids grilled cheese and tomato soup. Comes with a drink for only 7 bucks. I also sometimes add bacon in my grilled cheese, I definitely would give that a try. Their bacon is so flavorful and yummy.

The service: It can be a little slow and I do find myself getting up and just refilling my own drink or getting my own condiments. That's the only down side. I feel like all the servers mostly do us just bring you your food and then never come back...

But overall great place to grab dinner, cozy atmosphere andelicious food with lots of flavor no matter what it is!

I agreed to meet a friend here for lunch despite not being fond of Nordstrom. The cafe is located on the second floor and has an odd combination of cafeteria style (grab a tray and go down the line to choose/order whatever you want to eat then go fill up your own drinks at the soda fountain) and table service (your food is delivered to your table and your congenial "waitperson" also brings refills and tends to any additional needs you may have). This person who delivers your food also leaves a small tray at your table which, it is assumed, is for a tip for walking your food to your table.

I ordered a turkey-cranberry sandwich with a side salad and also a lemon bar.

The salad was good but unmemorable. The turkey sandwich was touted as having "cranberry chutney, havarti cheese, organic arugula, roasted garlic aïoli on toasted organic whole wheat bread." The chutney and cheese were a great flavor combination with the bountiful sliced turkey breast. I couldn't detect any garlic flavor so not sure how much of that aioli, if any, was in there. All-in-all an okay sandwich.

The lemon bar was above average; certainly good enough for me to recommend if you are wanting a dessert and like lemony stuff.

While the food was enjoyable it's certainly shamelessly overpriced...but no surprise, this is Nordstrom.

Thank you Max, manager at Nordstrom cafe and associates for making sure our dining experience was a pleasant and positive one.  We were shown the customer service and hospitality that Nordstrom is normally known for.  They assessed and fixed a situation which was addressed accordingly.

    First time at this location

I came here after shopping around 1:30 on a few days after Christmas (weekday).  I was delaying lunch because I figured that the crowd would be at the typical lunch time.  However I was a little discouraged when I saw a line that trailed out of the restaurant.  But, I remained persistent...wanted some good food not your mall food court junk.

I was surprised at how there was a sign that requested a patron to place their order first before sending someone to go save a dining table to be fair to those ahead in line.  It all worked out pretty well.  The line went fast and there were plenty of seats left for those ready to sit and eat.

I ordered a cup of Tomatillo soup and a Large Caesar salad.  I figured it was a good combo of comfort and all the while getting some cold greens.

The tomatillo soup comes with cilantro and lime on the side.

The large (very cold and crisp) Caesar salad was dressed with the perfect amount of dressing and salt, pepper and lemon.  I noticed they dress the bowl (smear it around) first then toss the lettuce in and then the seasoning after.

I mean, this meal isn't groundbreaking it's just done quickly, good quality, friendly service and I left feeling satisfied and good that I didn't get fries or pizza from the food court.

Salad with an added soup $13 with tax.
